Natalie Portman gives a stunning performance - Mila Kunis was her usual waste of space - how she ever got a nod is beyond all of us - she is a disgrace - she was appalling at best. But she does not really dance but for a few minutes which is a blessing though she bragged on an interview that she trained just a couple of months to become a prima ballerina - an obvious slam to dancers everywhere which is why they are boycotting this film with her in it - which is a shame to the other performers who are actually good at their craft.

I agree Portman should be in the oscar running & that the movie shows the underworld of ballet & was a good story, but there was still something missing - heart? I didn't love it.

Great movie and gret acting. Should be seen.Nothing creepy. It is the hidden from the public dance world full of passion, work to the bone and very dramatic personal life. The greatest thing in the movie is: the STAR was born. This is N.Porthman.
