The basic premise of the movie is that embracing the dark side, ie. sex, enables an artist to display a greater depth of artistic expression. It was creepy and overwrought, and way too explicit for a 14A rating in my opinion. The jerky camera work gave me a splitting headache. However, to give them their due, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis did a good job of acting as polar opposites.

This is, plain and simple, a dreadful movie. The characters are all two dimensional stereotypes, the script abysmal, the camera work nauseating (literally)and the acting trite. Save your money! See the King's Speech instead!
