This movie had me gripping my seat the entire time; it was disturbing, intense, and provoking--the 'gore' scenes were believable and I -felt- Nina's spiral into madness over her role.

I knew nothing going into the movie which helped with being unbiased towards it. From start to finish my body was tensed. It hits you in the chest with emotion - sad, happy, funny, scary, disturbing, sexual, etc! After the movie, my mind was so affected in a good way that I didn't know how to verbalise what I just saw. I recommend this movie to anyone old enough to understand complex and raw human emotion. It has become my favorite movie of all time.

You know its a great movie when it is finished almost as fast as it began. This is one of my all time favorites, along with the movie Notebook. Both of these movies totally engaged me, but each in differnt ways.
