i didn't read the book but i had heard much about it and was really looking forward to the movie. i personally felt the movie could have been a bit more in depth, but it was easy enough for me to understand what was going on. had i not known about the more subtle points of the story, i would have missed them in the movie though.

it really wasn't worth all the hype the marketing campaign did to promote this forgetful movie and characters. the running man with arnold was much better than this.
