i read the book, so we were armed with a little more description, but i went with someone who didn't read the book, and they enjoyed it as well. i feel they did alright in transferring the book to a movie, but there are parts that didn't come through as good as the book.

this movie kept me entertained from beginning to end. the action, the concept and the acting was brilliant. the costumes and the cinematography added to the overall experience. rarely do movies do justice to the book and in my opinion this movie did! i can't wait for catching fire to come out next year!

was impressed with the movie, kept pretty close to the book for most aspects. the cast were picked very well and were suitable for their roles. i especially thought that woody harrelson played his part perfectly.
