A highly successful, feel-good film that will introduce audiences to one of the world's greatest athletes of all times - who just happens to be a horse. But it is just as much the story of Penny Chenery, Secretariat's owner, carving out new ground during the early days of women's lib, in the old boy's club of Southern USA's horse breeding, and Diane Lane conveys that steely will wonderfully.
Definitely worth a trip to the theatre - despite a little Disney-fying. The race scenes alone are spectacular.

Excellent Movie. Great acting, lots of well written and interesting scenes and filled with true movie entertainment. A movie for everyone with a feel good sensation when you leave.
