Brilliant script. Lane at her finest. Interesting to see how many obstacles she had to overcome and to see her succeed was fantastic. Great movie for the family.

Excellent movie, but not for young kids.
I thought it was great, and I didn't the story of this horse. well told, races are gripping and scenes are lovely. I took my 5 year old with me, thinking she would enjoy a horse story, but definitely not the right choice for her. She enjoyed the races (yelling out "go big Red") but the rest was boring for her.
