Waited 2 years for this biopic I couldn't take my eyes off Jafaar. I sang, danced, cried and laughed. Brilliantly casted and very impressive makeup. Now ready to wait for Part 2!!

A disgusting whitewash of a child rapist. And just as disgusting is the way all the negative reviews are being purged from this site. Clearly the people who operate this site are pro-pedophilia and they all should be investigated by the FBI. The people posting positive reviews of this film are demonstrating a profound moral vacancy. And the person invoking the name of Trump is so utterly ridiculous (Is that you Bushwah you amoral imbecile?) they have no idea how to pretend to be a decent person. Michael Jackson was a despicable child predator who should not be celebrated.

Outstanding film. Shows Michael's true nature. He was always gentle with everyone, despite his strict upbringing. And his talent was through the roof. He really worked hard to become the bestselling artist of his time.

The storyline was well written and right on point. If you are a Michael Jackson fan, you will love this movie about his road to stardom. His nephew did a phenomenal job portraying him along with the actor who played Michael as a child. The entire cast was great. I loved Michaele pure love for his music and his compassion for others. He gave his all with his classic songs and dance moves. After watching this movie, I believe Michael was very childlike in a sense and would not hurt anyone.

This is Michaels life portrayed during the formative years of the Jackson 5 and the development of his fascination with the escapeism that Neverland would eventually provide.
Apparently, since several of his brothers were executive producers and would have been eye witnesses to family events when growing up, the movie solidifies, the allegations that their now deceased father and group manager, Joseph, was a tyrant whom they all feared and who they claim physically abused at least Michael with a belt.
Whatever abuse did occur does not seem to have deterred Michael from not moving out on his own and away from domineering Joseph when Michael was a grown successful star, when he couldve easily made that choice.
It stops short of the years that began Michaels downfall including the marriage (surrogacy arrangement?) with the woman that carried his babies, his draping one of the babies outside a balcony window and before any molestation allegations..Other than a quick mention, it does not cover any of his religious beliefs.
Michaels nephew portrayed him in this movie and did a very good job. I thoroughly enjoyed being transported back into that time and getting a glimpse of some of the events that helped to shape Michael as well as a look into his many fascinations which we may have found odd then and his desire for perfection.
Although the movie was thoroughly entertaining, both my adult daughter and myself felt there was a deeper message in the movie of Michaels kindness and childlike innocense which gave us both pause and we felt inclined to reconsider previously held.beliefs of Michaels eventually reputation and demise.

Couldn't stop dancing in my seat! Brought me back to my MTV days and memorizing the Thriller dance moves with my sisters. What a legend, an icon, one of the greats we lost too soon. I love that Michael's nephew played him in the movie - what a tribute. I could definitely see this again.

Timeless beautiful music. Michael's nephew did an amazing acting job. Thus was the best movie I've seen in a very long time. Go see it and memories will flow.
