  This film gives the viewer a rare Palestinian POV to counter the fairy-tales told by Zionists the world over the past 100-years. Not an easy film to watch but when I consider the reality of Palestinians on the ground (or in the ground) it is a duty to see and know it.

  What human beings wouldn't fight to defend their land, homes, livelihoods, freedom, families, and the essence of who they are? None. This film beautifully portrayed the universal struggle for dignity and liberation, and resilience and steadfastness of the human spirit as manifested in the Palestinian people.

  A much-needed depiction of an historically important period. Palestine 36 shows the continuity of the settler colonial project in Palestine, and the brave, steadfast resistance of Palestinians.

  A stunning, intimate film -- a historical epic eye-opener that exposes the role of the British occupation of the land and its impact on the indigenous population. I hope to see more films from Palestine in commercial theaters in the future.
