Jared Leto , well , he does this Ian mckellan , John Luke Picard, impression, all the way through , like it's an imitation , not spin , nothing new , he literally rips their voices off and gets paid, baffling .
New guy Adam ,is fine , dorky, hunky , central casting . Evil Lyn looks and acts like a mall hairdress for the nintyies. All the menace of a bad perm . Wanted to love , but lots got in the way , the self deprecation on the nerd community is fun. Snappy when it needs to be , just not snappy enough . And that the rub ,could been a lady . Sad

They had a chance to tell a story that would've been relatable to all parents. Especially dads. Man-At-Arms could've struggled with losing everything and failing those he loved. Then had to struggle with that knowledge while having to protect the only thing he had left. His daughter Teela. With everything taken from him by the very world he must now prepare Teela for. But no. They turned one of the greatest father figures from 80s cartoons into a useless broken drunk. Great father/daughter story Mattel. I hate this movie.

It's lousy. Yeah it's comic book stuff but I liked Batman and most of the Superman and Spiderman movies, but this one was missing something. I think it was maturity. It's just so adolescent... early adolescent. It's obviously on purpose that the hero's body grew up without his head. It didn't fit. That's all. Even the music was stupid. Clearly not a John Williams, or Jerry Goldsmith, or James Horner score. Ten bucks wasted.

So, the adult in you wants to not admit that it loves this movie, is it corny, yes, is it simple, yes is it entertaining, definitely. If your entire childhood has been forgotten and wiped from your memory, then don't see it. If you still have any part of the kid left in you and aren't afraid to admit it. Enjoy!

If you are 10 years old U might enjoy it - oh well, I paid the money to see it so I stuck it out. I give it a good C rating because there was nothing else on to go see. It was funny in some parts -a chuckle here and there and that's about all the good I can say about it.
