Holy timelines Batman!
Started as 'seen this plot before' but it being animated kept it visually interesting. Little bit of comedy helped get through it in only two sittings. The 'feel good' part did feel good so it gets a 4.
Some recommended subs instead of dubbing; I subbed but found I had to pause sometimes so that I could see the animations/background. But then again, dubbing usually sucks anyways.

You'd have to be daft not to appreciate this movie.Its virtually impossible to criticize this movie. But I feel its also not practical to compare this to any of Mr Miyazakis' masterpieces. This is a masterpiece on its own. its not a Miyazaki, its a Makoto....

The art style is beautiful. The soundtrack makes my heart cry. I will listen to it over and over again when I get it. The time skips they do to make you just as confused as the characters themselves is a very clever and cool technique they do. I love this movie so much. I recommend everybody, EVERYBODY go see this.
