While the movie begins with more sex than I care to see, the main character actor did a most splendid job of portraying the aged Dracula and the makeup was great as well. Lots of gore, violence and of course, blood and while this is the second movie I’ve seen this week that bases undying love on sexual chemistry. Dracula is more of a romantic movie than Wuthering Heights. I am not kidding. I felt sorrier for Dracula and Elizabeta than I did for Heathcliff and Catherine. I would not bring a child to this or a teenager or even young adultand I would feel very uncomfortable seeing either one of those movies on a date. It’s definitely not a family flick, but of course wasn’t intended to be.

It's Dracula, you know the story, but his anguish is more palpable in this adaptation. Beautiful scenery, great make-up, good looking leads. What's not to love?

Really liked this original take on the classic. Has a little humor, but, not too much. The male lead was excellent, if not a bit hard to look at. The heroine, wow, what a cutie. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Loved this heartfelt take as "Dracula: A Love Tale" as opposed to the same old-same old Dracula as a horror story. Every inch of the production was impeccable, the shots and detail magical, music superb. And Caleb Landry Jones was the icing on the cake delivering a memorable and intense performance. I've watched it 3 times and could watch it again tomorrow. Just beautiful!

Overblown Dracula film. Decent acting but just a bit too violent. Not particularly faithful to the original novel by Bram Stoker. It is hard to match the Lugosi,Chirstopher Lee or Gary Oldman films!! Time to stop improving on the classic films!!!

It was just a B minus movie. Can't compare to Gary Oldham's portrayal of Dracula. I was entertained but not impressed with this rendition or portrayal. I expected much more and got much less.
