  Boring, slow, and not much story. Characters were good, but had nothing to do, and the entire premise was basically pre teen story telling.

  What the heck? The dog is in the title and highly featured in the beginning but he didn't last long. A new puppy was introduced and vanished from the story, too. The sad sack guy was easy on the eyes and sweet as could be but his running about didn't accomplish much. In fact the whole story didn't accomplish much.
