I particularly liked the road-movie portion where the unlikely companions start to bond. Esteban is quite easy with the Ravers, whereas Luis remains more cautious and skeptical at first. A memorable scene is where Esteban and Bigui talk about family: While Esteban is thinking of his biological family = missing his sister, Bigui emphasizes his new-found family in his Rave friends. One really gets to care about everybody of the group, which makes it even harder once Oliver Laxe gets to the very literal reading of the title. Overall, a good but demanding movie!

Excellent movie which seemingly changes genre several times. It starts of as a quasi documentary on the Rave community, then turns into a road movie before becoming something completely different in the third act. Great performances by the father/son duo and the (non professional) Rave family. True, several categories come into my mind where this movie should have been nominated for an Oscar…
