Quite the religious tone. I get it, one is atoning for a major sin and a fanatic (Glenn Close) who was carrying a major burden and needed to release. The small group of uber-followers were a little on the extreme believer side. Then you have the Monsignor who is manipulating and the worst version of believers. Then you have Blanc who is a non-believer. I think we need people more on the side of the young priest who was in between everyone and therefore the central character. The murder on the other hand almost seemed secondary to the overall religious tone. The part that bothered me the most was Blanc saying what he did at the end and somehow knowing Glenn Close would tell her story. Come on. The acting was great though.

I did not know what a knives out mystery was but now I highly recommend it. It's a great story. Acting was quality. Music was fitting. Visuals were interesting. Very well done.
