As a stand-alone movie, M2.0 has all the entertainment. It's complex, with all the emotions (if you let it), laughs, gore, and great stunts & combat scenes. The references to Steven somebody's 1990"s martial arts action flicks for the mature demographic? Yes it's a horror movie. Just stop comparing it to the first one. M2.0 is worth a watching again.

As someone who appreciates good horror films, or even really really bad schlock horror films, this dreck lives somewhere in the ether. Never scary, never engrossing, never intentionally or unintentionally campy, just a horrible plodding poorly written, acted, and directed waste of time.

This movie overall was so bad, that I thought it was a Netflix TV series season TV show instead of a movie. Megan 2.0 can best be described as a direct movie release or a free movie from tubi. Overall save yourself your money for a better summer blockbuster films.
