  I had no idea what to expect, never saw the show, went with a friend and an open mind. I loved it! The characters were great! I loved the underlying interactions between the family members and the servants, so many subtle but powerful nuances of being human. I felt transported back in time, so interesting. Really enjoyed it!

  Julian Fellows really gave the fans everything they were expecting and I loved the Dame Maggie Smith was not forgotten.

  A wonderful film to end the series. All the original characters are back with superb writing and acting. I highly recommend this film for anyone who enjoyed the previous series and films. And don’t leave when the credits start to roll. There are some scenes interspersed with the credits that finish it well.

  Loved watching the movie on the big screen and seeing the women Edith and Marie and their mother taking their power over men. It is sad to see it finish I have totally enjoyed the series.

  Lots of characters/roles in this movie. A bit of a challenge to keep track of their roles and relationships. Amazing costumes and setting.
