  not nearly as good as the book (no real shocker there...are they ever) but i really enjoyed it! one pretty big difference between the ending of the book and movie though.

  Thanks, Nir, for the mention of Citizen Kane- I've seen that one about as many times (four or five) as Plan 9 and Psycho. Now that I think of it, I'm gusiesng that I've seen The Third Man and It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World about the same number of times as well. Four or five isn't that many, but seeing new movies is usually of more interest to me than seeing a movie (even a favorite) for the Nth time.And one more thing on The Busy Body- I also watched the opening credits over and over and over and over again. I just love the music (by Vic Mizzy, who was possibly best known for the theme music to The Addams Family TV show and Green Acres), and the aural/sonic bridge from the credits to t

  an excellent movie that deplicts the future world we could be living in. has a deep meaning, with a talented cast. lots of suspence, action and edge of your seat moments. highly recommend.

  greatest movie ever!! even though i didn't read the books, it was an amazing movie! very good acting, and a great story line! so i've heard from people who've read the books that it's a little long, i must agree but it was still amazing! must see for sure.

  i have never read the books and after seeing the movie, i don't quite care to. that being said, the movie was well-acted with a well-thought out and organized plot, as far as i could tell, not knowing the history of the written series. nevertheless, it loses points as it was just a bit too long and at times, seemed a bit too over-dramatic, almost as if the drama was forced.
