This movie does a good job at making you feel uneasy with the atmosphere, but its definitely enhanced if you're already familiar with the backrooms and this type of horror. The review saying that they had to check ChatGPT to tell them the plot, or others not explaining why they leave 1 star shows you a lot about the people rating this low.

Genuinely fantastic film.
Also hate those criticisms this film isn’t scary because no jumpscares, I’m sorry but that’s the most stupidest thing I’ve heard in a while.
I’m sorry you have to get scared by a damn soundboard effect.
