Catherine Laga'aia made a great Moana. When I first heard Dwayne Johnson was in it, I couldn't figure out who he would Play. He owned the role of Maui . .Great job for these 2 actors who grew their characters conflicts into respect and friendship. Do not miss the opportunity to see this with your kids. Beautiful special effects, Much better than the original cartoon. We loved the music and traditions of the dance. Moana 's parents and Grandma were wonderful roles. Well written and acted. See it for yourself, You will be glad you did!!!

the scenery and costumes were well done and the movie moved right along and there were many upbeat songs, and yes, this is a musical. Good family movie WITHOUT: drugs, sex, language, horror, lgbtq, and graphic bloody violence. All ages were at this movie.

A kids film that put me to sleep. I kept saying, get one with it already. Don't they have something better to show us? How about a film with a story. As Charlie says, "Good grief!"
