So this 3rd in the trilogy was fabulous. The movie is filled with intrigue, drama, suspense, enough humour to make it plausible. You don't have to read the books to enjoy the films - the sub-titles added to my pleasure - I'm a sucker for a good foreign film. This trilogy is by far one of the best I've seen. I'll buy the set on DVD to add to my collection. Highly recommended with my 2 thumbs up!!!

The trilogy ends with this mediocre screen offering--book three of the series was also the least appealing. Even though several of the book's subplots were left out of the movie, the film is seems overly long, yet short on suspense. While I usually avoid Hollywood remakes of foreign films, I am curious to see David Fincher's trilogy version starring Daniel Craig as Blomkvist.

The least interesting of the series. If you haven't read the book it's impossible to know what's going on.
