It wasn't great that is for sure. I think they only reason I didn't mind it was because I had very low expectations after reading the reviews. Knowing that it's bad and watching isn't as painful. Worth going if there is nothing else to watch. Acting was awful that is for sure.

man you people are tripping prolly a low budget movie but its realistic NUFF said sorry its not action packed where a regular person becomes a hero it portrays reality and how strong human bonds are ending is Epic they should make a video game out of this movie FOR REAL....

I generally like sci-fi movies but this was terrible. I had to choose one star because there was no selection for "0 stars." Lousy plot, poor character development, some special effects okay and some really bad, like the guy who was punching the alien with his bare hands even though nuclear weaponry did little to slow them down...really bad movie. Wait until this comes out in DVD and get it from a friend. Do not pay for this movie!

Just saw this movie - I found it to be pretty entertaining. The alien machines were reminiscent of those from The Matrix, and it had a little Independence Day/War Of The Worlds vibe to it. It was not a horrible movie, as stated in some of the reviews I read before I went to see it (like another reviewer said, it is just scifi - some movie goers may be expecting too much). There are better scifi movies out there, but for a little more than 5 bucks an hour, I give it full value for entertainment, which is what you are looking for when you go to the movies, isn't it?
