You better not be expecting some epic moonster movie. It's 1hrs45mns of walking, filler dialogue and a ridiculous ending.
over-hyped and boring. chick flick in disguise.

Perhaps its because the creatures are heard more than seen that the 2 main characters' dialogue is primarily about their dreary lives and clumsy feeling they have for each other rather than the GIANT ALIEN SQUID walking around. This movie is about meandering through the Mexican jungle with a delicate flower (with a tiny bladder) and a jaded photographer with priority issues as companions - and the waiting, and waiting, and waiting... for SOMETHING of the aliens to appear. The lovely shots and great CGI do not make up for the sheer boredom. Niether a worthy Creature Feature nor Relationship story worth enduring. DO NOT SEE THIS ONE. Seriously.

Oh groan. There was a tons of dramtic pause, like there was subtitiles that were not being spoken. It felt like it was a book adapted to theater, badly. It might make a good book, but it made a really bad movie. And the ending wtf!?! Don't waste your money
