This was so enjoyable. Why? Because it was a bare bones action flick that reminded me of a 1970's action flick. No back story, no sub-plot, no twist. Even the characters names were perfectly one dimensional.
Revenge + The Rock + Burnt Out Cop = Driving, shooting, ass kicking and a great "owe me nothing" film.

I thought Faster is a fast paced actioner with a good character development and decent acting from a action star rocks. Billy Bob Thorton is up to his usual tricks of treachery and bebotch. Mayhem and very esplosive soundtrack.

Gritty and grimey action. Old school payback movies are awesome and the Rock delivered in this movie. Anyone that has an appriciation for the old school action movies, will love this one. Nice work.

Faster is brutally efficient film that moves well and layers in character beats and backstory via flashbacks and photos to create a much more deeply resonant experience than the average, by-the-numbers revenge flick.
