If you were bored or didn't like this movie, you didn't "get" it so go watch The Expendables because you'll enjoy Sly's "acting" much more. It's not about seeing other characters, it's about living the ordeal with the single character. Imagine having a camera in a coffin with you trapped inside. There won't be any other people around you. All this character really has is the cell phone, which in a way acts as another character or medium for the other characters to enter the story. I thought it was really well done and you really see the emotional journey that the character experiences. Nicely done. Right up there with Memento and Inception.

For starters the write up on this movie pretty much tells you how this movie is going to end...how it was rated as 4 stars I will never know...I personally did not like the acting...It would not be a movie I'd recommend.
