Very good movie, gives you a feeling of what a lot of men of war had to go through. And why it is so hard for them once they come back home. I would definitely recommend to see.

One of the best films I have seen in quite some time. Very emotional story based on the autobiography of British soldier Eric Lomax. I have to admit I approached the film with the preconceived idea that vengeance is the best tonic for injustice. Certainly the Japanese government to this day has not accepted full responsibility for the atrocities its soldiers committed during the war. The film reminded me that not every soldier is a war criminal and for that I am humbled.
