The film “Detroit” is a disturbingly painful movie to watch.
The direction, production and film work is exceptional. In general the acting is very well delivered and the music is relevant to the action and direction of the film.
The civil and racial unrest in the motor city are well documented. This is a movie with violence, nudity and is not for the weak of heart. Definitely not appropriate for children.,, but mature teenagers should in fact see it, as to understand the struggles of the "Detroit sound". Highly recommend this movie. ( It is a bit long in length, but this is a minor criticism )

There's so much to like and dislike. Sad to see someone's career not be developed because of police brutalality. I fully understand why he did it. Very good movie, very sad, but true

It's sad to see our country slip down the tubes that try to divide. The agenda of which to say the problem is somewhere other than where the problem lie's. Quit fueling the fire of of racism and start promoting make something of yourself.
