I found the film very rough around the edges, which might have been to resperent the character and tone better, but ultimately I felt made this Reitman's weakest effort thus far. Still enjoyed it so that isn't meant harshly. And I believe it is the chemistry between Theron and Oswalt, as well as the depth of Theron's character, that make this memorable. If you don't get the groove, there is no way you can enjoy it but if you do, it can be a lot of wicked fun.
