I am a 65-year-old woman who is a fan of both stars...this is without a doubt the 2nd worst movie I have ever seen in my life. Do not waste your time seeing this movie...

I thought the movie had a good plot, but it was poorly executed. The main thing I didn't like was the silly script for Diane Keaton. The scenes of her singing were poorly done. Michael Douglas was a hoot. Best thing about the movie. the relationship with his son was good drama.

I thought that the story line was really good. I sure wish the language in it was cleaned up. Didn't see any need for it at all. Why ruin a good story line with that.

What a story !! ALL actors were outstanding in their roles. The drugged out mother ... She "showed" the sad life of runaway drug use and consequence of such. Wow - we wanted to clap, just to shy ... Thank you all for a great movie night.
Note: We even stayed for the musical credits - application to the events were priceless .
