Will likely get an award for special effects, and I do get the concept it's presenting. But calling it a great movie with great acting only proves that North American audiences get off on noise,explosions, gunfire and stupid action scenes. Acting? What acting?

Christopher Nolan(Momento,Dark Knight)has crafted a dreamscape of a movie.The visuals are tremendous and the ideas put forth about the underbelly of the unconscious make for a truly original summer entertainment.Leonardo Di Caprio's brooding performance and the performances of the rest of the cast(especially that of Marian Cotillard as the feral ex-wife of Dom's dreams and nightmares)are exceptional. The cgi effects are brilliant. Especially noteworthy was the sudden appearance of a freight engine on a busy street and the jaw-dropping sight of a Paris street and buildings curling over like some giant carpet. The movie demands several viewings. My only quibble is that it might have allowed th
