First film in the Stephanie Plum franchise is an absolute delight, with Heigl's sexy portrayal of the vivacious bounty hunter a wonder to behold. Fans of detective fiction should not miss this one.

Janet Evanovich should have been in charge of picking the cast. Katherine Heigl is too pretty for this part and so is Debbie Reynolds and she was nothing like "Grandma" in the book.

I hated Ranger. he was not even close to what he should have been. Joe was all wrong too. The movie was not long enough and left ot important parts. I love the series of books and I hope if they do other book they pay more attention to detail. I loved Katherine Heigl. She was very good. Everything else fell short. Overall a disappointment.

if you liked the books you will enjoy the movie however some of the chuckles and laughs in the book do not translate well to the big screen. some of the characters seem miscast.
