This is one of those movies which stick with you. Chloe is a bit of a mystery, while Bas is struggling with his upcoming feelings. Wonderfully realized story. A movie with a lot of atmosphere, excellent cinematography, and a hypnotizing score.

Look for the Yellow Vail Bluray, it has English subtitles. Love this movie, great performances by the two lead actors (and Titi, of course). A very tender depiction of early affection and its fragility.

Great coming-of-age film, chilling at times, with a powerful score. Too bad the DVD comes only in all-French language without even English subtitles…

Excellent movie, it’s a lot of romance with a bit of a ghost story. There is Bastien, who clearly has a crush on Chloe, staying at the same cabin in Quebec for their summer vacation. The age difference between the two becomes obvious when she frequently prefers to be with her older peers, but there is also an honest affection towards Bastien. Great story with great acting.
