not even with free popcorn refills is this movie worth your time. Bale plays Moses like an underpaid Batman actor. Come on- God portrayed as an angry child? Really?! Movie resurrects bad hollywood writing and attaches it to this 'biblical' free-for-all like a new plague.

This movie was pure blasphemy. Everything about it doesnt line up with the bible. Pure garbage. Once again, humans allow satan to use them to mock to God

it would have nice if somebody would had read Exodus in the Holy Bible and stuck to the main parts of the Story. Our Creator the one true God, does not show himself to Moses as a child.....nor did Moses ever argue with GOD and show disrespect. Moses Feared God and obey him....He was the savior of his people. Either an atheist who wishes to distort the Truth...or a very ignorant person wrote this movie script......it is not even an interpretation of the Scriptures....Might as well called it CRAP...for that it what it is. And it is offensive to my Faith.

The movie has great special effects and allows the viewer to gain brief insight into the Egyptian culture with a panoramic view of the city of Memphis as it might have looked back in 1300 BC. However, Ridley Scott takes great license in the way in which he interprets the Book of Exodus in contrast to "The Ten Commandments" with Charleston Heston. And so, don't expect any more orthodoxy than with the Noah movie.
