Took my 5 & 3 year old grandsons. They both enjoyed and stayed interested. I was a little concerned that they may be frightened in a couple of parts but they were fine. I thought it was a very cute movie. I liked the twist on the the role of the dinosaur and humans.

Not suitable for young children. We were one of the families that left because our 5 year old grandson was scared. A poor rating on this movie for sure; would not recommend for certain.

It was a bit difficult for my 4 year old to stay interested the whole time. It was a bit slow. I don't think the father dying is any different than Lion King or Tarzan and other Disney movies. It did, however have a good ending. The moral of the story is to be strong and face your fears. The overall message is good.

It was a great movie for the 4,6,9,11 yr olds. Like Disney movies, there is a loss/difficulty in the beginning that ends with a connection and a smile. Several reviews were written by people unfamiliar with Disney movies (Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Lion King, Beauty & the beast..etc.)!
