this movie was never filmed for 3d which is why there aren't any real 3d effects except for depth.good movie overall but not worth the extra fee for 3d, rent it at home instead.

lol this movie rocks, was amazing in 2d and 3d was a bit better but still a great movie, and honestly those who bad mouthed it must be trekies with a lil curiousity to go see it, either way great movie :)

as was the original, a visual treat, and likewise, acting very 'comic book' (yes, master) and given the odd alien character jar-jar binks, quite a bit intolerably too much of a 'kiddie-factor' (sell more toys) as well as 'polite smile' for those of "diverse cultures... a 'happy' expression with saliva flying all over". the 3d was very balanced, and not eye-popping extreme. i did fall asleep this time round for the 'races'... but enjoyed the rest.
