Despicable Me is a definite childrens' must-see movie. Although the storyline follows the traditional children transforming evil villain idea, there are creative elements, such as the unseemingly villainous character Vector, that make it fresh and unique. The movie also contains humour targeted for adults such as relating the Bank of Evil to the Lehman Brothers, making it age-friendly. There's something in it for everyone.

I have to say that I hesitated to see this movie. My kids wanted it for Christmas so I bought it for them. It was HILARIOUS! I was pleasantly surprised.
