the blood bath at the end was ok, but the rest of the movie was really kind of lame.. the 3d was forced and tacky .. floating penis, really? the 2 playmates swimming naked was cool, but that scene didn't need to be 12 minutes long.
2 stars.. plus 1 for Elizabeth Shue still being a babe

This Movie knows what it is and doesn't try to be anything more. It's a summer horror Flick that's filled with tits and gore. However the plot is very predictable.

What did you think this was going to be. It's a great remake of a schlocky gore fest from back before special effects and silicone boobs. This is entertainment at it's best. Little or no script, gratuitous nudity and gore gore gore !!! And... as et up for the sequel. If you're expecting a story line and academy award nominations then you've wandered into the wrong theater. Don't penalize the movie because you missed the point.

The plot line was predictable, the acting poor except for Elizabeth Shue who was actually really good. I hadn't seen her in anything lately. There was a lot of nudity in it for no actual reason and the part where the fish spat out the penis was purely overkill and sensationalism. They tried to create a story line with a bunch of scantily clad teens in the background. We get it, it's spring break but they didn't have to hit us over the head with it.

Boring movie, crappy acting, LOTS of Blood but no scare factor, just stupid. No all-star cast. The most noticeable guys are from Sliders that used to play on SPACE in the mid-90's & the old guy from Back to the Future & a couple of adult film actors. Pros-lots of porn stars being eaten buy ferocious ancient piranha and 3d boobies! Soundtrack was pretty sick. Overall not worth seeing in theatres. You would have a better time seeing Cats & Dogs 2 in 3D.
