As much as I love horses and animals in general, this movie would be better if there was a time for us to make some connection to the characters´cause the most of them appear and die after a while. There´s one brilliant scene when the horse is running in terror over the barren, apocalyptic battlefield but the rest of the movie is quite mediocre. It might seem better to kids around 13 years though.

this is a very good movie. i enjoyed it. unfortunately, the actor they cast as the boy, jeremy irvine, practically ruined it. if they had cast a better suited actor i would've really enjoyed it. he just had no screen presence or charisma. other than him i enjoyed the movie and would recommend it.

Loved every minute of this movie. Great story, acting, music and director. I'm not ashamed to say that I cried at times. If you have a heart you will enjoy this movie.
