I have watched this many times now. it is not as good as the first but still worth 4 stars. There is one mistake, Bones said he was injecting Khan's platelets into the deceased tissue of a necrotic host when it should be the necrotic tissue of the deceased host (the tribble)lol.

excellent story/plot... great use of alternate timeline 'meld' of one with the other (old vs new) to the fullest. inclusion of such reinventing the characters via novel timelines keeps it interesting. worth the see. done well in IMAX 3D too. enjoyed it immensely.

Went to the Imax movie tonite with friends...the movie was excellent and loved the special effects. Also was lucky and won a hoodie of Star
Trek into the Darknessfor answering a question correctly.. We like the young man Damien who was the host. It's a great theatre and so roomy and spacious. Very friendly staff as well.
