The greatest love story ever told, so much goes on in the last 10 minutes of this movie! I think it would go over a lot of people's heads. My wife asked me to take her back a second time, especially to rewatch the last 10 minutes, unbelievable writing! Best Picture of the year.

Well-acted but only intermittently entertaining, Obsession suffers from a draggy first half before it gathers momentum towards its relatively predictable ending. Its kinda disappointing when the audience figures out where the movie is going long before its main characters do.
And the intrusive synthesizer soundtrack is a distraction -- tone it down already.
