Canadian filmmaker Daryl Granger earns the trust of commercial fishermen on Lake Erie to document their daily struggles and successes. The documentary summarizes the history of fishing for pickerel, perch and smelt on the Great Lakes, includes rarely seen footage of activities on the fishing tugs, plus candid opinions about the future of the industry.
