Metro Manila Synopsis

After a disastrous rice harvest, Oscar, a proud and honest farmer, takes his wife and two little girls and moves to Manila. After arriving, they’re cheated out of their savings by con artists and move in with Oscar’s family in a slum. He lands a job as a driver and armed guard for an armored truck company, while his wife gets a job as a stripper. Oscar’s senior officer, Ong, takes Oscar under his wing, but Oscar soon finds out that Ong has manipulated him, implicating him in a conspiracy.
