Wavemakers Synopsis

An ensemble of interesting characters are on a quest to re-invent and revitalize an early electronic musical instrument: the Ondes Martenot. The mysterious instrument was celebrated as the musical invention of the 20th century, but has since disappeared. A group of engineers, musicians and others are determined to re-introduce the invention to the world.

The Ondes Marenot has been featured in film soundtracks and music throughout the ages, from Amélie to There Will Be Blood. Though many people have probably heard its sound, many more are unaware of its origins or existence.
