When Animals Dream Synopsis

Marie, a teenage girl, lives in a small fishing village with her seriously ill mother who is confined to a wheelchair and her father Thor, who takes care of the family.

Marie goes to work at a fish processing plant, where she's bullied by her coworkers. She's also affected by a strange rash that starts on her chest, where hair begins to grow. Her body undergoes more strange changes and she begins to realize that her family is hiding a strange secret that relates to her mother's condition.
