The Duelist Synopsis
Marking the third Russian-language film to be released on IMAX screens, the film takes place in 19th century Russia. A retired army officer named Yakovlev (Pyotr Fyodorov) returns to Saint Petersburg after a long exile in order to return his insulted honor. Currently making a living as an unbeatable duelist, Yakovlev has second thoughts about his profession after meeting Princess Martha, the beautiful sister of a future opponent.
