City of Tiny Lights Synopsis
Tommy Akhtar (Riz Ahmed) is a cricket fan, devoted son – and private eye. When nursing another hangover, hooker Melody (Cush Jumbo) asks him to find her friend who has gone missing. This missing-person case is not as seemingly straightforward as Tommy thought it would be, as his journey into the mystery launches him into the hidden layers of modern London. There, he will uncover shocking secrets about past loves, friendships and family in a dangerous world of religious fanaticism and political intrigue.
